Gerke is an impressive 5 year old gelding by the PREFERENT Feitse, and out of a Piter dam. He has EXTREMELY good suspension and action in front, as well as a powerful motor behind. Gerke is very comfortable to sit. He is suitable for a beginner, and more advanced riders will really appreciate this guy's fantastic movement! Gerke has been ridden out on trails, and is not spooky, and he drives as a single, and as a perfect pair with his buddy, Hessel. He has LOTS of hair, beautiful conformation and an incredible personality to match. He is sweet and calm, learns quickly and wants very much to please.
Gerke is 16.2 hands, short backed, and the typical baroque style friesian. He is tall, has a very curvy neck, and is beautiful to look at, and SUPER on the trail. Gerke could be a walk/trot 10 year olds horse, he is super broke and drives like a dream, wonderful knee action in front of the carriage. We love his super personality, he is really good for a youngster or first horse for a novice. Gerke has never had a lame day in his life. He is a perfect partner with Hessel as a driving pair, they love each other and they are turned out together all the time.
