Baron is a beautiful star gelding, and we are not just "saying" he is solid 2nd level dressage, he is DOING it!! This boy has winning points in L2 Dressage, ready for M level.

It doesn't stop there... he has experience competing in harness in front of the sjees, and showed successfully in harness last summer!!

Baron was selected for the finals of the young dressage horses at the mare show in Leeuwarden in October this year, and he was shown this past year by the incomparable Sybren Minkema, the SAME dressage rider that showed his sire, Tetse, to fame and fortune.

Baron STER is easy to ride and a super horse to learn dressage on!!

AND he is clean on X-rays and comes with a recent pre-purchase exam. This gelding is elegance personafied. He is Forward Moving-- does not require spurs or whip, this is NOT a lazy friesian. And yet he is also simple to ride: very easy to get on the bit, and easy to control---appropriate for not so strong riders! He has three EXCELLENT gaits: Nice easy trot and canter, and a walk we think worthy of a "10".

Not only was he shown successfully, and consistently scoring above 65% in L2 dressage, he loves people and attention. What a quick and willing learner!

He is calm, sane, safe and friendly, and easy to handle. Loves to go on the trail, is quiet and not spooky by himself and is good with company, and very safe in traffic.

Baron STER would be an excellent first horse, and good for riders that have had a bad experience on a "hot" horse they couldn't control. He is also fine for novice and Junior riders.

Baron is a sweet well mannered gelding. If your looking for a horse with exceptional movement with tons of Future in Dressage... this is it!! We really have high expectations for this boy, he is a PROVEN winner, with high scores in second level work!!! And his pedigree is PHENOMENAL, his motherline reads: STER-STER+PREF-STER-MODEL. The studbook measured Jouke as 165 cm when he became STER this year. His birthday is 6/29/03. He had no scores lower than "7" on his linear score sheet, and he received a "7.5" for his incredible trot! Baron also completed the ABFP test and had a total of "71" for the riding portion and a score of "70" for he carriage driving portion, proving once again the versatility of this pretty boy.

This is a VERY good looking & easy to ride horse!! Lots of hair! Riding and driving.... and has show experience at BOTH:) L2 dressage with winning points, and only 4 1/2 yrs old! Tall, dark and handsome, here is what our dressage trainer, Barend, had to say after riding Baron...

" I must say that this is a VERY nice horse!!!", and Barend doesn't give out compliments easily.
