Ravello is a VERY special horse. He is competing and winning, and is THE reigning World and National Champion Engish Show Hack Open friesian!

Here is a highly elastic dressage horse. Ravello shows lots of tact and rhythm in his performance. His canter is beautifully 'uphill', and Ravello is EASY for all levels of riders....a push button horse. Bred to be a winner by the famous H. Mulder in Holland, Ravello is entirely uncomplicated, he has passed the "Ron" test, and been shown successfully by Ron in the U.S., which means a very novice rider can ride him, inside and out, with no difficulties whatsoever. His relaxed personality made us fall in love with him, and we have been proud to have Ravello as one of our "keeper" horses for the past few years, and he is ONLY now available due to his rider, Julia, attending college.

This is a GOOD one... a RARE hard to find boy. Pedigree?? Couldn't be much better, this Tsjerk son [Tsjerk is known for passing on phenomenal movement] has a textbook motherline: STER-Model+Pref-Model+Pref-Prst-STER.

Ravello stands 16.0 hands and has a baroque build. He is a
Perfect Schoolmaster!!!!! How many friiesians do you know that are competing succesfully at 3rd level and have points in Z dressage and are very well trained for driving?!?
Ravello is very affectionate to people, he has the best character. He is
gentle, willing, and easy to handle.

Ravello is deligently forward moving, yet not difficult to control. There just are not many friesians with this much professional training, and winning show records going both dressage AND saddleseat, that are on the market. Ravello has dream looks with a gorgeous head and an abundance of thick full hair. We LOVE his fluffy thick poodle like feathering, which you just don't see on the younger horses. If you are looking for an upper level, older, been there, seen that, kind of horse, Ravello is your man. He offers great movement, an impeccable personality and goes just as well in a snaffle bridle, as a full bridle! Ravello is a super show horse. And did we mention that Ravello has MUCH experience driving, and is a spectacular carriage horse, as well? Oh yea, and he has won with Jana and Julia at every single large A rated USEF show on the west coast, in both open and friesian classes for the last two years.

At the 2007 IFSHA Friesian World and National Championships in St Louis, Ravello was crowned English Show Hack Open World Grand Champion, besting a large field of quality horses, including beating the 2006 National Champion English Show Hack-Open horse [priced 30k MORE than our boy!!]!!!
