Imke is what we call........

a GORGEOUS Baroque  Boy!!!!

AND he has tons of Charisma, he looks like he is ready to take his knight in shining armour into battle with his LONG mane,  bell bottom feathers, and a thick plush tail. This 5 1/2 yr old imported gelding has power, elasticity, and elegant grace, AND is very gentle and EASY to ride for the rider just starting out.  Imke has a sweet temperament, an excellent solid work ethic, and a very willing nature. He is a JOY for the whole family to ride. AND this boy also loves to go on trails, AND he is trained to drive:)

 He is good horse for a beginner AND he is experienced driving as a single, in a pair and in a four in hand! He also has experience being used for Marathon Driving in Holland!!!

If you are looking for an  experienced baroque friesian with that WOW Presence-and TONS of hair, here he is! 

  Imke is sooo elastic, everyone at our barn that rides, him LOVES him. We think Imke will be a star in any discipline, and you better like HAIR, Imke has got a LOT of it:) It seems so many friesians these days look like thoroughbreds, with a few feathers. NOT Imke, ...he has TRUE  friesian written all over him, with his very baroque classical build.

Imke is an excellent boy out on the trails, and he is very good about grooming, bathing, clipping, vet work, and he is perfect in the trailer.  He has excellent stable manners and no vices.  He gets along well with his buddies in the pasture  and has a golden character. 

This is a VERY VERY friendly gelding- that is wonderful to ride, as well.   Imke has both the gorgeous looks and also the sweet temperament.... he will gladly do what you ask of him, anytime, anywhere.   If you are looking for an exceptionally sweet horse that has excellent movement, and is easy to ride, with a willing nature, you need to come ride Imke!  Here is what Imke's trainer had to say about him:

"I have spent a good deal of time over the last month with Imke.  He is someone’s dream come true. It takes a while to earn his trust and affection, but then he’s all yours. He’s cooperative about every aspect of handling.  Responds very well to calm persuasion, and will happily follow you around like a puppy all day if allowed.  His behavior around other horses is calm, and trustworthy.  He has a very playful nature, and is breathtaking to watch in motion.  Another trainer I spoke with says she thinks he has lots of potential, and will be an incredible horse. This baroque boy has a really great mind and he adjusts very well to new surroundings.  He absolutely loves attention.

And it doesn't hurt that he is just plain flat GORGEOUS to look at:)   He has a recent pre-purchase exam as well.
