We call her ZEAL, because she seems to have a ZEST for life...Zilke W. That's her registered name, is a PROVEN producer, as she has had one foal thus far, in 2003. The father was the Approved stallion, Lolke, and her filly earned a 2nd premie and was immediately sold for a high price to Belgium.
Zeal is stam line 42, with unbroken ster predicates in her motherline. Stam line 42 is rare, and relatively small. There is a picture of her gr gr grandmother, the outstanding Model mare, Frida, on page 380 of the Dutch FPS mare book. Zeal is one RARE MARE!
When we first saw her, we could not BELIEVE OUR EYES. She is a TALL, athletic, TALENTED sporthorse who is actively competiing on the dressage circuit in L dressage [First Level]. She looks nothing like a mare that has had many foals ...Zeal still has a waistline:)
With a low 3.12% inbreeding, and unbroken STER predicates in her motherline: STER-STER-STER-MODEL, Zeal has terrific FPS/FHANA papers AND she is a talented dressage horse. She stems from stam line 42, a rare motherline, and the Dutch Judges measured this beautiful gal at 165 cm [16.1 hands!!]as a 3 yr old, we think she is even taller now.
Zeal had very high marks on her linear score sheet, scoring a "7" for her great walk, a "7.5 " for her wonderful trot, and a "7" for her remarkable build and frame. We think Zeal is a sure bet for STER at this year's keuring, and she will be worth 5-8k more when she makes it, so buy her NOW!!
Zeal has very balanced lovely gaits that are easy to sit. She has a wonderful talent for dressage and has what it takes to go to the upper levels. She has a great work ethic and is perfect for an adult amatuer, novice or beginner, or any family members, due to her sweet kind nature. Zeal is very intelligent and with the right rider will move quickly through the levels. How many friesian mares do you know that have SHOW EXPERIENCE? We know of very FEW, and Zeal is showing L2 level. If you want something with a lot of talent that will take you to the top then this is the horse for you. And then again, if you want a PROVEN good producer, with top notch bloodlines, Zeal is a wonderful asset to ANY breeding program. She is a very sweet, friendly, gentle mare that is truly outstanding.
