Foppe is a DROP DEAD GORGEOUS full papered gelding, and one of our rare finds from the Stallion Show. Foppe's sire is approved FPS stallion Rypke, an important Friesian stallion currently competing at 4th level dresage, and producing incredible, tall, athletic sporthorses. We love ALL the Rypke geldigs that come through our barn! Rypke's offspring are very black with very long hair. Rypke produces impressive offspring for both dressage and driving, and Foppe is no exception.
Foppe is 16.0 hands and still growing, and has a really long mane and forelock, his inbreeding is only 2.93 percent.
Foppe has a lot of experience in different settings and has been used pulling an antique carriage in weddings, due to his extravagant looks, and he is GOOD at it! He is not spooky at all, and has a great personality.
I loved riding Foppe when in Holland for the stallion show---he goes very easily on the bit, and is a willing worker--he WANTS to please his rider.
Foppe is very mellow in character and easy to ride, he is uncomplicated. He's one that you can honestly buy and just start enjoying right away!!!!
