Emiel is an INCREDIBLE STER Gelding, who was chosen by the Dutch Judges as being top 10% of ALL stallions [thus becoming a STER stallion), for his outstanding conformation and movement. He is at the IDEAL age of 6 yrs old. Emiel is a very talented dressage horse, and a wonderful carriage driving horse! This boy can flat MOVE!! Check out the videoclips of him.
He is also a fairytale horse, with an unbelievable amount of hair. Emiel is a "honey", an in your pocket kind of horse. And he is very easy to handle, and it is hard to take your eyes OR hands off of him.....he is really an incredible specimen.
Emiel will adapt to a novice, but he is sooooo special, he was showing a perfect passage when he was under saddle last week, thus ambitious show riders will like him, too! He has the potential to go ALL THE WAY, and he likes to learn!
Jet-black, shiny coat, HANDSOME, and he has the looks of a WOW fairytale STER gelding coming right out of a dream...this horse will awe the crowds at parades, in exhibitions, and we want to show him under saddle!

Sired by Ritse and out of a MODEL +Preferent dam, Emiel has an excellent pedigree and clean x-rays. His birthday is 3/28/01.
Emiel has an honest character, good manners, and stands over 161 cm tall. He went to the stallion keuring as a 3 year old, and then went into riding/driving training for 9 months; and as a 4 year old, he went to Jan Folmer's farm, and had more training for the stallion keuring, later becoming Star in 2004, and began competing in sport. Emiel is a GREAT star gelding, who acts more like a black labrador, than a HORSE.

His mare line reads model pref x ster x stb x ster, continued with model x model x model pref x ster x model (almost) back to stam dam Juliana. Stam 15 produced the breeding stallions Ynse 164, Binnie 173, Eldert 180, Meine 230, Ygram 240, Meindert 263, Gaije 295, Adel 357, Lolke 371, and Tsjalke 397. Emiel is trained to ride and drive. He has lots of hair and is very elegant!!
