Check out our latest KWPN Warmblood x KFPS Friesian  cross----Gerlof, registered in the Barock Pinto Studbook, and originally scored so well at the keuring, he became 1st premie and was selected as an APPROVED STALLION,  although he is now happily a gelding.

Measured at the keuring 2 years ago at 170 cm, and NOW 173 cm, which translates to 17 hands, this TALL  stunning pinto is so gentle and sweet---he would make an excellent husband/all around family horse.

The Dutch Judges think very highly of this big boy.... he scored a resounding "8" for his step, "7.5" for his type AND build AND legwork, and earned a 1st premie in 2019.

You will not want to miss out on this absolute beauty! This beautiful Gelding is willing to please, with the sweetest, most easy-going temperament you will ever find! He is an excellent dressage horse. Bottom line, he will steal your heart away.

He has the true “Friesian” look about him from his dam but has the movement of a warmblood inherited from his sire. This Baroque Pinto gelding is WOW. He is a fantastic mover and will make jaws drop wherever you go. This horse is fancy and has the talent to go all the way in dressage OR be a fantastic pleasure/trail mount. He is coming six years old and thinks wonderfully. He has a phenomenal temperament and is also good in traffic. He is not reactive and is very brave. His gaits are AMAZING. So smooth, and easy to sit, which is not commonplace in the 17 hand boys. He floats when he moves.

Temperament is phenomenal and he  has the talent to excel in the highest levels of dressage. This boy has LONG legs, standing at 17 hands.

He is sensitive to the aids, but sensible in that he can be ridden by different levels of riders.

His quality is not surprising, since he was an approved Baroque Pinto Stallion (now a gelding). He truly has the look and temperament of a Friesian combined with a little bit of pizzaz. Pictures do not even do him justice- he is just STUNNING.

Gerlof is 50% FRIESIAN, as his dam is sired by the famous Folkert  and dams' mother is by the legendary Leffert Pref Sport. 

The Dutch Judges remarked on his excellent development and strong topline.  His sire, Ceasar, is an approved  warmblood stallion that is known for adding athleticism to offspring.

Gerlof is currently going 1st-2nd level dressage and is very well behaved and super SWEET/easy to handle.  He is handled and ridden by all different levels of riders, and enjoys going on long hacks and trail rides, not just arena work.  Although tall, he is kind and willing.  Gerlof is VERY friendly!

AND he has the highly coveted SHOW EXPERIENCE, having  competed L Level in Europe, which is 1st Level, and is experienced in going to NEW settings and staying focused on his work.

At his last dressage competition, Gerlof scored a whopping 70.5% in First Level!!

He comes with a full set of xrays including back, available for review with your vet, taken in Dec 7, 2020.
