Meet Sophie. Here is an absolutely fabulous 2 for 1 deal on a TALL (yes, she measured  166 cm as a 3 yr old and is STILL GROWING)  4 year old mare,  in foal to the hot new Approved stallion in Europe,  Jouwe 485.

Sophie will give you a foal by this amazing approved stallion, due June 24, 2017.

 She is very sweet, safe and uncomplicated.

You cant get much better---Sophie has a TOP pedigree, with unbroken STER predicates through out! She is sired by Maeije  and her dam's sire is  Brandus ---she has what you call a full paper!!

Sophie is a very very sweet and uncomplicated mare. She is so calm and easy to ride. Just tack her up, mount,  and go for a ride. Not spooky, not tense… this is a nice tall mare with fantastic movement! What a NICE SWEET mare to ride...AND she has a wonderful pedigree, and TALL!! Sophie is a rarity, indeed. She is by the famous Approved stallion, Maeije, a modern Friesian that excels under saddle. Maeije enjoys the attention and action of competition, making him an ideal show horse. He has received excellent scores and comments in the dressage ring. Maeije’s first foal crop was born in the Netherlands in 2009. These youngsters were recognized with 16 1st Premies. Maeije is known for passing on his very good legs, excellent type and jet-black coat. His offspring also inherit his powerful, supple movement and balance. He tends to produce  offspring that can MOVE!!!....just like Sophie!

Sophie is in foal to Jouwe, the top performance horse of the Central Examination 2014.  He is a son of the impressive stallion Pier 448, and has a lot of size and a powerful build. In the performance test Jouwe performed in all disciplines very well. He has a very good hind end, and therefore can easily excel in both riding AND driving.  This special young stallion was the champion of his performance test. Talk about striking, besides his strong hindquarters, imposing front, balance and momentum in his movements---Jouwe is IMPRESSIVE to look at; we are thrilled to be able to offer such a nice, tall friesian mare that is confirmed in foal to HIM!

This wonderful and TALL athletic mare has a beautiful head, LONG hair, and a strong willingness to work.  Being shorter coupled, this mare is very light, powerful and elegant. And, she has a delightful, stable temperament.  You can’t beat the pedigree on this mare: mother is STER, grandmother is STER + Preferent, and Great Grandmother is STER...there is no reason to think Sophie wont make STER , when tried! She comes out of the relatively rare stam line 43.

Sophie's price includes cem testing before import, bloodwork, pre purchase exam and ultra sound, and transport to the airport.
