Versace is a 5 yr old LONG haired gelding by multiple Champion, Jesse (son of the one and only legendary LEFFERT SPORT + PREFERENT!) Versace was born april 12, 2011, and mother's sire is SIERK. This is a very well built gelding with a very nice chiseled head. He has really nice LONG hair, poodle like feathering and a shiny jet black coat. Versace is a very kind horse to handle in the stable, suitable for a beginner, amateur or child. He is calm and sweet, about as bombproof as they come, never bites or kicks.... no vices whatsoever. We LOVE his incredible movement! He is well driven. He was used in funerals in europe pulling a fancy carriage, and he has experience being driven as a single, in a pair, and in a 4 in hand!
But what we REALLY like about this older, experienced boy is how NICE he is to ride!!!! Versace is a horse that is just SO EASY for every level rider. SAFE SAFE SAFE. He always wants to work:) NOT a lazy friesian. This stunning show stopping Friesian gelding is an OUTSTANDING horse for both riding AND driving. He is blue-black, has lots of flowing hair, and turns heads wherever he goes.....and he is QUITE MAJESTIC, as he stands 16 hands tall and is still growing. He is a forward moving Friesian with elastic fluid movement, always in control, and currently going First Level dressage. He has impeccable ground manners and is a loving people-friendly boy.
Versace is talented enough for an ambitious dressage rider, yet VERY WILLING, gentle, and kind hearted, and appropriate for someone just getting back into riding or someone that had a bad experience or injury, as he is experienced being ridden and driven in all kinds of settings, even in traffic! He learns quickly and has a wonderful character. He is a kind soul with a fabulous disposition and positive training attitude. Looking for a safe, sane and sound horse, Versace is your man.
Marathon driving is like cross country riding---Versace is ready to go wherever you would like to take him. He can be ridden by every level of rider in the arena and on the trails. He has been driven in traffic quite a bit and ridden in traffic as well. Pure joy to ride OR drive!! Height: 16 hands. Comes with a thorough pre purchase exam completed on April 12, and xrays on cd rom available for review with your vet.
