What a GREAT BUY on a Grand Champion STER Gelding!!!!!

Basil has a modern build--- he is a VERY elegant gelding, and the Dutch Judges agreed--- a quality mover with lovely suspension, and good conformation!! This boy was easily crowned Champion Ster gelding at his keuring.  Not surprising, considering his mother was a model mare.

Basil is a son of the multi titled World Grand Champion approved stallion, Folkert, who is located in europe.  Folkert semen does NOT ship,which means the only way to get a Folkert offspring in this country, is to import him.

Basil is very quiet, not spooky, easy to ride, AND eager to please. Solid dressage basics, has also been ridden western and is always quiet on the trail--- whether ridden by himself, or with other horses.  He is suitable for a novice adult or Jr. rider, and he loves people and attention and would excel as a show horse. 

Basil had the same owner his entire life, and he was only sold t due to his former owners health (she is no longer able to ride). She left Basil a stallion until he was 3 yrs old, so he would  retain the magnificent build of a friesian stallion.

This is a RARE TO FIND, reasonably priced, VERY easy going, sweet tempered 10 yr old gentle giant STER gelding that has been exposed to different situations, and is VERY appropriate for timid riders. Basil has been loved and enjoyed his entire life by one woman, and it shows. He has a wonderful nature, just exactly what the friesian breed is known for, and he enjoys going out on long hacks, or group trail rides. He has 3 very good gaits and is just as easy to ride under saddle, whether ridden every day, or not ridden at all for a few months! He is a kind, gentle, giving boy with a heart of gold. He WANTS to please, and he has no vices or bad habits whatsoever.

His dam's sire is the one and only "hair man", Oege Pref, our favorite approved stallion of all time.

Basil comes with a thorough pre purchase exam with negative flexions completed on Dec 16.
