Elegant, 6 year old 16.1 hh Registered Friesian mare, proven producer. Exceptional temperament suitable for any amateur or novice. Successfully competed up to level 2.

Expressive movement, years of professional training. Very special, exceptionally calm, sound and willing.

Jolanda is a rare jet-black Friesian mare by Monte, scoring above 65% [with the winning points to prove it]--in fact, she has  16 points in L2 dressage, and is now successfully showing 2nd level. She has great gaits, is very athletic and is extremely comfortable. She has a lovely canter with a super willing attitude and easy to sit trot. Goes in snaffle and double. No vices. Great for vet, farrier, dentist, etc., loads & trailers well.

We are impressed, not only with her FAIRYTALE looks, but also her impressive gaits: her walk is connected and long strided, her trot is excellent--very fluid, and her canter reminds us of a rocking horse. It is extremely uphill and cadenced! Jolanda has superior qualities as a dressage mare and also as a broodmare.

She is a beautiful mare who has inherited her sire's fabulous movement! Like many Friesians, she has a wonderful, easy-going disposition and willingness to please, as well as a wonderfully long mane!

She hasn't been tried for ster-- but believe you me, WE will be taking her in Sept, if not sold first!

Jolanda is breath taking in looks and movement. She rises to any occasion to show off and is VERY well talked about on the dressage circuit in Europe. She is a true lady, and gentle giant, to handle and polite and well mannered. She is TALL---165 cm  and her quality and presence are just unbelievable.

Jolanda stems from stam line 46, 8th generation. This is the SAME line as the approved stallions Hylke 186, Bjinse 241, Hannes 296, and the one and only Wander 352!!!!

She is easily ridden by a novice rider or child...or even your grandma!  Her trot and canter is to die for---- so collected and fluent. And looking for a super mare to add to your breeding program?!? Jolanda has had one gorgeous foal, and is a proven good mother--easy to get pregnant, no problems foaling.

She is a very independent young lady who will hack (trail ride) first, last or alone!! She is beautifully schooled in dressage and always goes in a beautiful outline with an amazing engine that gives her natural elevation and extension. 

Jolanda has to be seen to be believed, she is pure perfection.

Comes with a recent thorough pre-purchase exam. AND Jolanda was confirmed 3 weeks in foal as of aug 5, 2010.... which means she will give you a foal sired by the approved stallion, Brandus, in July , 2011!!!
