Horse Description
Ian is a 3 year old gelding. Around 150cm tall (14.3 hands).
He was an approved stallion; approved in France and in Germany!!!!
This really says something about his quality because only the BEST achieve the rare APPROVAL status. We have since gelded Ian, geting him ready to be a new forever boy for a lucky individual in the US or Canada.
As a stallion, he was a very sweet and calm horse. No stallion behaviour or bad manners at all! Now he has been castrated, and he is going out in the field together with other geldings, and he is perfectly mannered!!!
He is a well built, a strong horse with nice movement. He is double trained to ride AND drive. Of course he is still young, so he just knows the basics and is not a high level dressage yet, but he is so very calm and easy, never hotheaded or spooky---this gorgeous guy is appropriate for even a less experienced rider.
It will be hard to find another horse like IAN in North America. Rare breed and rare color. Great 3 day event prospect and all around unicorn!

He is not spooked by horses running around him and handles himself like a PRO when driving!
Ian is laid back but sporty at the same time. Loves attention and really bonds with people. He LOVES kids. Kids can scream, yell, fight, and run around and he does not care at all. He loves the attention they give him. He is quite safe with small people and dogs under foot.
We VERY rarely import other breeds, but Ian is a SPECIAL one--- and reasonably priced--
