Chapter 1 Horse Show We
had another GREAT show, and were 1st or 2nd in every class entered! 14 yr old Julia Goldman rode Stormy Seas to a victory in the Open Eng Pleasure-Junior /Limit Horse class.Our new 6 yr old stallion, Majestic, won the Friesian Pleasure Saddle Junior/Limit Horse class with Janna Blu was Reserve Champion in the Open Eng Pleasure class aboard Stormy Seas. Julia was Reserve in the Friesian Under Saddle Jr Exhibitor class on Stormy. Black Sterling and Janna were victorious in the Friesian Pleasure Saddle Amateur Class. It was a family affair in the Open English Pleasure Championship, as Majestic and Janna were 1st, Blu and Sterling were Reserve, and Julia and Stormy came in 3rd! The Goldman family made a unique victory pass by all 3 riding around the ring in a victory lap, with the long championship ribbons flowing from the horses bridles, Majestic was wearing the roses, and small Andy Goldman carrying their winnings/loot out of the arena. Ron drove Stormy to two good Reserves in the Open Pleasure Driving Amateur and the Open Pleasure Driving Stake. Majestic made an outstanding performance to take Reserve in the Friesian Pleasure Saddle Championship class with Janna in the irons. These tremendous results just go to show that our friesians are not only BEAUTIFUL, they can PERFORM, and win! |
