The Friesian horse is generally wider in the back than a warmblood, or many other breeds, and the Friesian horse has bigger ribs and they stand more round. After numerous requests to sell our tack WITH our horses, we decided to design, develop, and import saddles and bridles designed specifically for our horses. That way we COULD sell each horse’s tack WITH the horse! We noticed over the years, some of our Friesians who we used normal saddles on, with a smaller tree size, were sometimes getting back and shoulder problems.
The Black Sterling saddle is extremely comfortable for our horses, as well as their riders. This saddle is recommended by physiotherapists. The size of the saddle is for the most common size of the Friesian horse. The size is exactly the same in inches as the original Fryso saddle, but this saddle is less expensive and more durable!

We no longer recommend adjustable tree saddles because we have had too many problems with the trees breaking, and we thus have chosen a much stronger construction for our saddles. All BSF saddles come with a 5 year guarantee on the tree and a 2 year guarantee on the leather! We are able to offer this guarantee because our Dutch saddlemaker uses the highest quality leather and tree’s in our saddles.

Our BSF cooler provides custom features at a very affordable price, in a lovely vibrant blue color with gold braided trim and piping. A quality fleece cooler with a beautiful BSF monogram, made from 300 gram, anti-pill Polar Fleece. With its excellent wicking properties, it is ideal for cooling down after exercise, or a bath. Highliner Outdoor Horse Blanket

Waterproof, yet breathable, outdoor blanket with optimal ventilation. This blanket is made from 1200D ribstop polyester with Teflon coating, 5000mm waterproof and 4000 grams of wool filling.
Our black BSF blanket is stylish, with gold piping trim and custom BSF Friesian graphics, and will protect your horse from cold and rainy days in winter time. This top of the line stable blanket – is made of denier ballistic nylon, which is a slick shiny material that is exceptionally durable and extra warm for use in cold climates. It has proven to be not only good looking, but also durable on our Friesians, and is resistant to abrasion. In addition, the blanket is Teflon® coated to shed dirt and resist staining and is constructed with every feature of quality construction. We chose the Highliner blanket, imported from Holland, because it is designed specifically for our Friesians, and consequently fits them better than any other blanket we have tried, and is the ideal weight and durability for most horses in most climates. We recommend our blankets in sizes 76, 78 or 80, to fit most Friesian horses.
