Stallion Show 2005
In the registry of the Friesch Paarden Stamboek,
only Approved Studbook Stallions can sire horses that are eligible
for entry in the main studbook registers. The selection and testing
requirements for a stallion to gain breeding approval are so
rigorous that only a handful of young stallions are approved
each year.
During the judging process , selection is made
from among more than a hundred young Friesian stallions. On
the afternoon of the last day, all the Friesian stallions,
including the older ones, put on a dazzling performance. Around
8000 people from around the world attend the show.
